As an Assistant Purchaser, you will be the key link in the chain, regularly communicating with suppliers, logistics partners, and our internal team. Together with the procurement manager, you will support the procurement process. In this role, you will take a leading position in the operational and administrative aspects of the procurement process.

You will monitor delivery times, order and plan purchases, focusing on the operational side of the process: analyzing, planning, and ordering our inventory. Additionally, you will continuously optimize the parameters of the procurement system. Strong professional and communication skills are essential when interacting with our suppliers and partners.

Who are we looking for?

• MBO level 4 diploma/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in Small Business & Retail Management, Business Administration, or Commercial Economics.
• Completed NEVI 1 training is a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Procurement Assistant or a similar role.
• You are commercial, ambitious, data-driven, and result-oriented.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
• You work in a structured and dynamic manner. You set the right priorities but also know when to switch quickly.
• Entrepreneurial and not bound to a 9-to-5 mentality.
• Residing in the Arnhem/Nijmegen area.
