The Some By Mi Truecica Aqua Calming Suncream is a non-nano, chemical sunscreen that provides optimal sun protection for the skin with as many as 5 UV filters. Made from 85% hydrating essence, this sunscreen offers a broad SPF50+ PA++++ spectrum for protection while soothing and strengthening the skin barrier with 378,000ppm of patented Truecica. The sunscreen also combats skin aging and brighten its complexion.
One of the most important factors of aging and the development of hyperpigmentation and melasma is (excessive) exposure of the sun. We seperate three kinds of uv rays: UVA (UVA1 has a reach off 340-400 naometer and UVA2 has a reach of 320 en 340 nanometer), UVB (320-280 nm) and UVC (280-100 nm). UVC is blocked by the ozon layer, so we aren't exposed to rays under 280 nm.
UV Filters:
- Iscotrizinol (UVA2-UVB), Terephthalylidene Dicamphor Sulfonic Acid (345 nm), Uvinul A plus (320-400 nm), Tinosorb S (280-400 nm), Uvinul T 150 (280-320nm).
- Apply liberally 30 minutes before going out in the sun as the last step in your skincare routine.
- Reapply every two hours for the perfect sun protection during the day.
