The NACIFIC Fresh Herb Origin Sun Block SPF50+ PA++++ is a broad spectrum sunscreen with chemical filters that not only protects the skin against the harmful sun rays, but also minimize the look of pores. The texture is light and fast absorbing, making it a great addition for everyone with oily skin.
One of the most important factors of aging and the development of hyperpigmentation and melasma is (excessive) exposure of the sun. We seperate three kinds of uv rays: UVA (UVA1 has a reach off 340-400 naometer and UVA2 has a reach of 320 en 340 nanometer), UVB (320-280 nm) and UVC (280-100 nm). UVC is blocked by the ozon layer, so we aren't exposed to rays under 280 nm.
UV Filters:
- Homosalate (295-315 nm), Ethylhexyl Salicylate (280-320 nm), Avobenzone (310-400 nm), Sulfonic Acid (280-320nm), Octrocrylene (peak around 304 nm).
Ingredients we love
- Calendula: A wound healing plant extract containing flavanoids that have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant abilities.
- Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract: A powerful antioxidant with UV protective, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial abilities, useful in treating rosacea, acne and atopic dermatitis.
- Apply adequate amount at the last step of basic skin care
- Apply 30 minutes before going out in the sun.
- Reapply every two hours for the perfect sun protection during the outdoor activity.
