The texture is thin and it cleans your face + makeup well so those are the good points. The bad: the scent!! It has an extremely strong herbal/ginger scent, which is really overpowering. It also seems to have made my skin even more oily during the day? Even though I emulsified it and cleaned it well afterwards. I will use up this bottle but I won't buy this again."}

Ik moet wel zeggen dat het de eerste is die ik ooit gebruik, maar ik vind deze erg fijn. De olie is dikkig. Qua substantie is het wel dunner dan pure castor olie. Ik heb wel het idee dat een dunnere olie beter zou verdelen. Ik heb tijdenlang last gehad van hele erge periorale dermatitis. Ik heb het nu nog een klein beetje af en toe wat plekjes, maar minimaal vergeleken met eerst. Hierdoor ben ik toch wat huiverig tegenover olie. Ook lees ik soms ook over horror verhalen dan mensen door oil cleansers een break out kunnen krijgen. Gelukkig bevalt deze oil cleanser me heel goed. En voor mij geen break outs ondanks mijn gevoeligheid voor dermatitis. Na het wassen als je de cleanser niet combineert met een andere cleanser laat hij een heel klein laagje achter die ik wel fijn vind.\n"}

The cleanser does such an amazing job at removing (waterproof) makeup, sunscreen and other impurities on the skin. While it went viral for supposedly removing excess sebum and blackheads, I quickly found out it was creating the problem it was supposed to solve. The cleanser contains soybean oil, which is a pore clogging ingredient. "}

I tried maybe 7 so far and they all melt away the makeup (except for mascara - need to separately wash it off with water, and forget about getting waterproof mascara off but that's all the cleansing oils I think) but only these 2 are very easy to wash off with water which is important to me. Also I like smell and aesthetics of this one better than iUNIK. Not sure why others say it's thicker, I find it to be one of thinner cleansing oils on the market"}

It emulsifies well with water and washes off my sunscreen and mascara quite easily. It does not leave a film on the skin but rather washes off completely without stripping the skin or making it feel dry or tight. It's very delicate and doesn't make my eyes blurry. It has a subtle earthy smell, which I found weird at first but that I really enjoy now. The only downside is that I feel like I go through it quickly. Still, it's one of the best oil cleansers I've tried so I would definitely repurches. "}
